2006 Project Funding Summary
Back in March of 2006, I took on the responsibility as Kokanee Power’s treasurer. It is a pleasure to serve you, our members, in this capacity. I can’t express enough how proud I am to see the number of people who show concern for our fisheries and the importance of education about our fisheries. Like myself, our supportive membership believes that Kokanee Power is a very worthwhile organization. Our ability to provide support to the California Department of Fish and Game, to plant and raise fish, to help those less fortunate than most of us, and to promote educational opportunities for hundreds of our younger generation is something you can all be proud of. Together we all believe in our organization’s motto: “It’s the Future!” I Thank You for your support of Kokanee Power.
I intend to keep you abreast of our distribution of funds via this newsletter and our website. You deserve to know the many ways we are making a difference. I'm proud to be a part of it.
Listed below is a summary of our funds distribution toward our Accomplishments & Cooperative Efforts for the year 2006. As you can see, in many ways, we ARE making a difference. Don’t forget, support is not only through funding but through the hard work provided by dedicated and generous volunteers - something you cannot put a price on. Be proud that you are a part of it!
