Here's the Don Pedro results. We had a great turnout for 100 degree weather. The trout were really active in the 20-40 foot range. The Kokanee were very elusive and only 5 teams and 1 junior brought in Kokanee. A few factors came into play on this. In 2015 there were no Kokanee planted so what is there is the natural spawn or 4 year old fish. Combine that with some drought years and now a lake nearly 100% full there were many more new places for them to hide. The few that were caught were generally really big and from 30-50 feet. Thanks to all that came out to support the organization and the fishery. Next up is Stampede for some cool mountain air with plenty of Kokanee being caught currently,
