| No Pro Division at this Derby. |
Beautiful weather, a little bit of wind, and kokanee galore. Fish were on the smaller side from normal for Don Pedro this year but still plump and tasty! The derby fleet concentrated at the Graveyard and Upper Middle Bay for most of the duration with a few boats working the Jenkins area and opposing houseboat fleets. None the less, our 123 anglers had their work cut out for them trying to find fish that would get them in the win column. At weigh-in, leave it to our Kokanee Power anglers to show how it's done. Dozens of above average kokanee came in which is a testament to their skill and knowledge. Congratulations to the anglers who proved to be a cut above. Many thanks to our anglers for coming down and celebrating our memorial to Phil Johnson, our founder. And special thanks to the Jerome Family for a great lunch. See you all at the Melones two dayer!!
