Bruce Hamby of Ripon caught the largest Kokanee: 23.2 oz. 16 1/4"

227 total entries. A slight break in the heat provided anglers great fishing. Most caught near limits or limits. The open water off Tuttle Town Ramp, Rose Island, Glory Hole Launch, and the spillway was the favored location of the winning anglers. One of the top twenty placers reported fishing the 49 bridge area.

As for attractors, Vance's Dodgers, Double Jack Blade Dodger, Double Trouble "R" Dodger, Sling Blade and Sep's Dodger were favored by the majority of the contestants. Six Shooter Ball Troll was used by Keith Kerrigan to capture the total weight pro division. Lures consisted of Keith Kerrigan Double Spinners, Super Fat Bug, Uncle Larry Spinners, homemade spinners, Murphy Bugs, Marni Bugs, Kerrigan Bugs, Apex and Hootchies. Pro-Cure products were used on the containers of cornb. Berkley Power Bait, Inc. has just released a new biodegradable scented chartruse corn nugget. Try it, you'll like it.
