Kokanee Power supports kids fishing day at Foster Lake

A kids "Hooked on Fishing" day was held at Foster Lake near Sweet Home, Oregon on June 6. The event was sponsored by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, South Santiam Fish Hatchery with help from U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwest Steelheaders, U. S. Forest Service, Oregon Department of Forestry, Oregon State Police, Linn County Parks, and Kokanee Power of Oregon. The event allowed each child to catch two trout. Prizes were awarded to those catching a tagged fish. The event was considered a huge success with over 300 children participating. Kokanee Power of Oregon supplied as snack pack for all those who participated.
